WOODEN VASE AND KITCHEN CANISTERS

GREAT GIFT IDEA MAKERS! I made the vase and kitchen canisters for my sister (who is a baker), and she loves them! She used the canisters for holding spatulas but they can be used for sugar, flower, tea bags etc. The vase holds water for her flowers, and can be hand washed easily. These octagons are very easy to make, I will be posting free plans (if you need them) for these on my website https://www.making-makers.com I used some scrap walnut I had laying around but feel free to use any wood you want for this. Interestingly enough, it’s quite easy to do the math while designing. Just remember to use the angle 22.5 degrees, then you can make any size octagon you want.
